Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be from a specific country?
No. The international remote work route is open to third-country nationals. However, Ibero-Americans have the advantage of being able to apply for Spanish nationality by residence after 2 years.
What is the Beckham Law?
It's a special tax regime that allows you to pay taxes only on income earned in Spain during your first years of residence. It can mean significant tax savings.
How long does the process take?
It depends on the channel. The visa (from outside Spain) is valid for up to 1 year. The residence authorization (from within Spain) can be up to 3 years, renewable.
